Prometeo have responded to renewed interest in some of the ancient grains that once grew naturally around the Mediterranean. The mill is certified Organic and uses a traditional low-temperature stone milling method that retains the natural oils.
Spelt/Farro is lower in gluten than other whole wheat grains and is more easily digested. Used instead of rice or other grains it is a good replacement to potatoes with meats and sauces. Delicious in salads or added to steamed dishes such as mussels, vegetables or in soups.
