Whilst Friuli is not typically well-known for its sparkling wine production, Fiegl’s Pinot Grigio Rose, made using techniques similar to those practiced in Champagne, demonstrates that high quality examples from the area are definitely possible. A savoury, red-fruited sparkling with a creamy mousse and refreshing dryness.
