Paterna Pugnitello Blend ‘Pugnirosso’ 2011
Whilst Chianti is best known for Sangiovese, it has historically always been blended with numerous native varieties. These are rarely seen on their own, but can make highly appealing, food friendly wines. Pugnitello adds colour, fragrance and acidity to the classic Chianti blend, so the 100% varietal wine has each of these characteristics highlighted.
