Pane Carasau 800gm Flat Bread
Pane Carasau is a traditional product from Sardinia. This extra thin crispy flat bread started as a way to feed shepherds living away from home for months on end. Made with durum wheat, water, salt and yeast, it keeps almost indefinitely.
Brush with some olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pop in the oven for a few minutes to refresh. It can be used in salads, as a base for pies or baked egg dishes or simply with cheese and antipasto. A great healthy alternative to crackers!
