Spergola is a grape varietal native to the area of Reggio Emilia, in the heart of Emilia Romagna. Historically it was much more prevalent, and until recently it was often mistaken for Sauvignon Blanc. Ca de Noci is acknowledged to be at the forefront of the producers working to revive this grape.
